Elective courses
Students must get 9 CFU/ECTS by choosing one or more elective activity/ies.
It is suggested to choose among MIE exams and other DEMM Master’s degree exams held in English:
- MEF – Finance and Economics
- EPS – Economics and Political Science
- DSE – Data Science for Economics
The MIE Didactic Board does not approve elective exams belonging to Bachelor degree programmes, so please choose among Unimi Master degree programmes.
It is also possible to gain elective credits through laboratories or a combination of exams and labs (e.g. a 6-credit exam plus a 3-credit lab).
Laboratories are usually 3 CFU/ECTS worth.
The maximum number of laboratories that can be authorized in each student's study plan is 3 (three).
This means students are allowed to obtain credits from up to 3 labs during their 2 years at MIE.
Therefore, MIE students who choose to take 2 labs instead of the 6-credit internship are limited to take just one additional lab as elective credits.
Please visit this page to learn more about internships at MIE.
